Piper and I went on a quick trip to Seattle this weekend for
Kim's second bridal shower. Kim went to college in Seattle and developed a large group of friends who wanted to celebrate with her. The shower was thrown by Kim's best friend, Heather, and was held at
520 Bar and Grill in Bellevue. We sat on the patio and enjoyed beautiful weather and a delicious brunch. But what was most enjoyable was seeing how much Kim's friends love her. There was so much laughter, excitement, and encouragement for the bride-to-be. I'm glad I got to be a part of this special moment in Kim's life.
I can't wait for Kim and Kyle's wedding day to arrive. They love each other so much. Kyle once told me that
this song always makes him think of Kim. While I'm not ususally much of a DMB fan, watching him listen to it and smile is one of the sweetest things. I can't imagine what the look on his face will be like when they get married. Less than 3 weeks away!

I used to be a huge DMB fan. Don't really listen much anymore although I still like him when I do. But I always loved that song!
