Last night Bryce's younger brother, Connor, got engaged to his girlfriend, Kaley. After Connor popped the question they came back to Kaley's house where their family and close friends were waiting to celebrate with them. It was wonderful to be a part of this special moment. Connor and Kaley were both crazy happy. I don't think either one of them stopped smiling the entire night, and Kaley couldn't stop shaking. The evening was full of so much joy, I think I will remember it forever. There is nothing like seeing two people so happy to be together.
Kaley is awesome. All three of us love her. We call her, "Uncle Kaley," because Piper accidentally called her that once and we thought it was funny. I'm excited that she is going to be my sister. She fits in with our family so well and adds a lot of spunk to it. She compliments Connor perfectly. I am sure she will like being a "Mrs. Hambelton" as much as I do. She is funny, laid back, smart, and gutsy enough to get into a debate with the Hambelton brothers! I love spending time with her and am glad that I get to for many years to come.
