On Friday Bryce and I went to the coast with our friends Joy and Jason Wiseman. We stayed at a nice hotel where we got a sweet-suite deal. Our rooms were huge and had fireplaces and ocean views. It was great to get away and we had tons of fun with our friends. The trip was full of so much laughter (and quoting this video). Joy and Jason are super easy going and we love spending time with them. Each time we hang out together we think, "We need to hang out with them more often." Bryce and I took little videos on our phones through out the trip and I put them together into a video blog posted below.
Bryce plays poker with a guy named Blake who plays in the band Pristine Blue. We decided to go down to the coast this weekend because the band was playing at a nearby casino. They are a country band, which isn't my favoirte genre, but they are SO talented. It was really fun to listen to them play. They're good.
Being at the coast was a blast. There was a super moon this weekend which caused the tide to be really high. Seriously, I saw some of the biggest waves I've ever seen. In the clip below, we are standing on a 25 foot cliff, so it is hard to gauge just how big the waves are on the film. The swells were probably about 30-40 feet tall. They were so loud and so powerful. It was really amazing. I felt so small.
